Japanese kanekalon

From all synthetic materials, we chose 100% Japanese kanekalon for the production of some of our hairpieces. In the menu you will find ponytails and Clip in one-piece extesnions made of this artificial material.

So what can be the benefits of kanecalon and why consider buying an artificial hairpiece instead of human hair?

  • Price - artificial material is significantly cheaper than 100% human hair
  • It does not have the undesirable features of natural hair - it does not frizz,no broken ends, etc
  • They do not grease - you wash them once in a while, due to styling products, dust, etc.
  • It holds the shape - the kanekalon can be heat-treated and will keep its shape until you change it again
  • UV radiation has no effect - natural hair fades due to UV radiation, kanekalon does not

Kanekalon has undeniable advantages, but there are two factors that are good to know. Unfortunately, coloringis not possible. Synthetic material is not affected by any types of hair dyes. But it doesn't have to be a problem, if the shade does not fit, you can exchange and return unused goods. Alternatively, buy two products and return unsatisfactory.
Another trait of kanekalon, which may be an advantage for some and a disadvantage for others, is that it is a smooth and slightly shiny material. So if your own hair is smooth, fine and shiny, kanekalon is ideal for you. Conversely, if your hair is rather coarser, kanekalon may not blend well with your own hair.

The advantages of kanecalon significantly outweigh, however, if the result is not as intended, it is of course also possible to exchange it for 100% human hair.

How to take care of kanekalon?

Artificial material also needs some care. In this case, perhaps rather maintenance. We have summarized a few points for you, which will extend the life of your hairpiece.

  • Always comb the hairpiece before and after wearing it and store it ideally in a hanging condition, or put it back into the packaging.
  • Gently comb like your own hair (from the ends, slowly comb, do not pull), the brush is also important.
  • Wash so that it does not tangle (do not scrub), just gently rub it in the direction with your palms.
  • When tangled, you can use a mask or conditioner - the fibers will be smoother and more flexible.
  • Do not brush it wet.
  • Avoid blow-drying, it is better to let it dry freely.
  • Do not dye or bleach.
  • Before heat-styling, moisten the kanekalon with water from a sprayer. We recommend a maximum temperature of 170 degrees and try to adjust the thin strand first. You will see how heat works. Never stay in the same place with the iron or curling iron for too long.

Although kanekalon is often referred to as an occasional acessory, it can serve you for a very long time.
